According to the Robert Half Global Financial Employment Monitor, of the 20 countries surveyed, 19 found it more difficult to recruit the right staff.
"The results of this year's report reflect the challenges hiring managers around the world continue to face in locating and retaining highly skilled accounting and finance professionals," said Greg Scileppi, director of international operations.
The study also revealed employers are increasingly diligent during their recruitment process respondents said they held an average of three interviews per candidate.
