Job Description: Are you a Finance Assistant looking for a new and exciting opportunity?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to join an established, welcoming Transport organisation near Lockerbie.

Duties will include (but may not be limited to):

• Input Purchase Ledger Invoices
• Raising Sales Ledger Invoices from TMS
• Paying around 70 drivers on a weekly basis & monthly wages for 25 mechanics
• Various excel work
• Dealing with and resolving supplier queries
• Ensure all documentation is filed away accurately and in a timely manner

About you:

• Good communication skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to work to deadlines
• Good IT skills, including use of Sage line 50, Sage Payroll and Excel
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• AAT qualified OR equivalent experience.

Hours: Full time
Salary: Dependent upon experience (circa £19,000)
Immediate start date available
